Tecklenburger Land

Reaching the 2. Bundesliga North took Tebu Volleys two attempts. Promotion first arrived in 2005/06, and the club went straight back down after a single season; it took until 2007/08 to hold that level for good, and this time the team stayed through the 2012/13 season, when the joint venture behind it was dissolved. A third promotion followed for 2016/17, and an immediate return to the third division, where the club has stayed in more recent seasons. The same 2016/17 campaign brought a run to the German Cup quarter-finals.

The club itself was assembled rather than founded in any single clubhouse: in May 1999, the volleyball departments of three local sides, TV Hohne, SV Cheruskia Laggenbeck and BSV Leeden-Ledde, merged into one Spielgemeinschaft under the Tecklenburger Land name, later rebranded as Tebu Volleys. It plays out of Laggenbeck, a district of Tecklenburg near Ibbenbüren, in the yellow and blue of all three founding clubs.

Lars Fischer and Sebastian Gartemann carried the club through its longest stretch in the second tier, first as players and then as the coaches who kept the side there from 2007 to 2013. More recently, Ole Sackermann came up through the club's own youth ranks before returning to it, while matches against VfL Lintorf in the third division are still played as a derby.

Home games are held at the Halle Burgweg in Laggenbeck.
