Estudiantes B

Two Circuito Sub-20 championships, in 2006 and 2007, are the only trophies attached to Estudiantes B. Both were won by the club's under-20 side, not by the senior reserve team, which has never won a national title.

The senior team's best season came in 2020-21. It finished first in sub-group B3 of the Liga EBA classification phase, which earned promotion to LEB Plata. The club renounced that place and stayed in Liga EBA, where the team had been playing since at least 2011-12. LEB Plata has since been renamed Segunda FEB, and the team now plays there, in the third tier of Spanish basketball.

The team's job is to supply the first team of Club Baloncesto Estudiantes, also known as Movistar Estudiantes, and its academy has produced players such as Juancho Hernangómez and Sergio "Chacho" Rodríguez. Games are played at the Polideportivo Antonio Magariños, on Calle de Serrano 129 in Chamartín. The hall opened in 1970 and holds 600 spectators. Local opponents include CB Getafe and CB Tres Cantos.

The colours, blue and black, come from the parent club, which was started in 1948 by students at the Instituto Ramiro de Maeztu in Madrid.
