The Papagou Indoor Basketball Hall, known locally as "Saloun", has 510 seats.
Papagou grew out of an athletic association founded in the Athens suburb of the same name in 1966, with the basketball section following a decade later, in 1976.
The one period that lifted Papagou above that level came through Alphonso Ford, who led the entire Greek A1 League in scoring in the 1996-97 season. The club retired his number 9 afterwards, alongside number 13 for Michalis Yfantis.
The Generals, as they are known, play in blue and white and continue to compete in the Greek A2 division and the Greek Cup.
