Coroebus of Elis won the very first Olympic race in 776 BC. Giorgos Tsitso, Markos Beblidakis and Andreas Kavourinos set up the basketball section in 1983.

Koroivos spent its early decades winning at regional level, taking the A1 E.S.K.A.H. Championship in 1992 and again in 2008, each title carrying promotion into the national G' Ethniki. A second-place finish in A2 Ethniki in the 2014-15 season sent the club into the Greek top flight for the first time.

The squads of that era carried Greek internationals such as Tasos Charismidis and Dimitris Charitopoulos, alongside imports including Aleksandar Ćapin and Devon van Oostrum. Games against Apollon Patras have carried the sharpest edge locally.

Home games are played in Amaliada, in a hall that holds 2,000 in blue and white.
