Between 2014 and 2018 they won five straight championships, then added 2021 and 2023 to the collection; the Swedish Cup followed in 2023, a 105–63 rout of Norrköping Dolphins, and again in 2025 against Högsbo Basket.

The team traces back to Luleå Basketbollklubb, founded in 1978, though the organisation spent several years in the early 2010s competing as Northland Basket before the name reverted and the senior women's side became attached to the local sports high school as RIG Luleå.

Not every season has ended with a trophy. The club finished runner-up seven times across two decades, in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2022 and 2024.

Home games are played in blue and yellow at the Luleå Energi Arena, a building that holds 2,700 for basketball.
