Alvik 2 Women

Regular-season champions of Basketligan Dam in 2020–21: Alvik led the final 2–0 against Luleå Basket before the series turned, finishing 3–2 to the away side. A year earlier the women's team had already reached the final of the 2019–20 season, called off before it could be decided.

Alvik 2 sits below that first team, in Basketettan, the third tier of Swedish women's basketball, and none are recorded for it.

The name still carries the weight of the men's team that no longer exists. Between 1963 and 1995, Alviks BK won the Swedish Championship nineteen times. Sten Feldreich, the country's first professional basketball player, collected five of those titles between 1977 and 1986. The team that won them was gone by 1996, folded into a merger with KFUM Söder and Stockholm Capitals that produced 08 Stockholm Human Rights. What carried on under the Alviks BK name was the youth and development structure — the programme that the women's sides, including the reserves, now belong to.

The club took its colours, yellow and black, from Alvik, the district of Bromma where it was founded on 31 August 1956, and still plays out of Åkeshovshallen in the same part of Stockholm. The women's derby is with Hammarby — a Stockholm fixture with its own name, and, for a reserve team, the nearest thing it has to a rivalry worth the word.
