Lewin Blum

Lewin Blum came through Young Boys' own academy, arriving from FC Roggwil in 2012, when he stepped into the Young Boys U21 squad. He stayed with the U21s for six years, racking up 17 league appearances and four goals before signing his first professional contract with the senior team in June 2021.

His first taste of first-team football away from Bern came on loan at Yverdon-Sport in the Challenge League, where he made 17 appearances and scored once before returning to Young Boys in January 2022. Blum won both the Swiss Super League and the Swiss Cup with Young Boys in 2022–23.

He has also been a regular fixture in Switzerland's youth setup, progressing from the U15s through to the U21s, and was part of the squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. A senior international debut has not yet followed.

In September 2025, Young Boys sent him out on loan again, this time to Royal Charleroi SC in the Belgian Pro League, with an option to buy attached to the deal. He made 32 league appearances plus four in the cup, and picked up nine yellow cards along the way as well as an assist. In August 2026, Young Boys turned down a €1 million offer from US Lecce for Blum, who remains under contract in Bern until 2027.
