Match report
Fard Alborz and Mes Kerman met in the opening round of the Azadegan League on Tuesday, playing out a 1:1 draw at home. Both sides entered the fixture knowing a point would keep them level after one match.
E. Gholaminejad opened the scoring in the eleventh minute, giving the hosts an early lead. A. Delir equalised in the forty-sixth minute, and neither side could find a winner despite several chances. The game settled into a measured rhythm after that.
And here's the thing about matches like this. We'd called a draw at 44 per cent confidence before kickoff, and the scoreline reflected that assessment. Neither side could pull away when it mattered.
By then, the game had settled into a measured rhythm with no cards shown. Both teams kept things clean and avoided unnecessary complications throughout the full ninety minutes.
The stalemate leaves both sides on one point each after their first outing, and that's where the season stands for now. Both teams have played once, won nothing, lost nothing, and drawn once.
