Fard Alborz

The 2–1 win over Shenavar Sazi Qeshm in the final of the 2024–25 season did something no match in the club's short history had done before: it put Fard Alborz into the Azadegan League for the first time. The club had spent that campaign in Group B of League 2, and finished it with 56 points from 16 wins, eight draws and only two losses.

The club, founded in Karaj in 2019, built its professional status by acquiring other sides' places in the league system: the license of Setaregan Sorkh Tehran carried it into League 3 for 2023–24, and the license of Shohada Razkan Alborz took it into League 2 the following season. Farshad Qasemi, who had played for Persepolis, and Mohammad Pourmohammad, arriving from Sepidrood Rasht, were key additions. Farid Safaei Fard has managed the side through this rise.

Home games are played in yellow at Enghelab Stadium in Karaj, a ground with room for around 15,000 — Fard Alborz has no popular nickname yet, and is known simply by its own name. A run in the Hazfi Cup during the promotion season ended early.
