About the player
Matheus Bidu's biggest title so far came on loan. Sent to Cruzeiro in 2022, the left-back made 34 appearances, scored three goals and helped the club win the Brazilian Serie B, his first professional honour. During that spell, Cruzeiro supporters also named him their standout player of the 13th round, an award known as "Cara da Galera".
Bidu began his career in Guarani's academy, breaking into the first team in 2019 and staying until 2022, when he made 90 appearances and scored eight goals for the club. In 2023, he moved to Corinthians on a contract running to 2027. His market value is estimated at €7 million.
