Guaraní U20

Petrolina Social Futebol Clube's under-20 side has spent recent seasons knocking on the door of the Pernambuco youth game without quite getting through it: in 2019 the young Tricolor Sertanejo reached the final of the Campeonato Pernambucano Sub-20 and lost there to Sport, and in 2024 they got as far as the semi-finals before falling away.

The senior club, nicknamed Fera Sertaneja, was founded on 11 November 1998 in Petrolina, in the interior of Pernambuco, and its academy has become the part of the operation with the more visible recent run of form. In 2025 the club's under-17s went one round further than the under-20s had managed, reaching the final of the Campeonato Pernambucano Sub-17.

Green, red and yellow are the club's colours, worn at home at the Estádio Paulo de Souza Coelho, a ground that holds around 3,000.

Petrolina's rivalries run through the other clubs of the Pernambuco state championship, the same competition in which its under-20 side has come closest to a title without landing one.
