Quepos Cambute

Estadio Finca Damas holds a thousand people, a natural-grass pitch off the Costanera Sur in Damas, on the edge of Quepos. It is the only home Quepos Cambute has known since the club took shape in 1996 on the Pacific coast of Puntarenas.

For most of its life the club stayed exactly where a thousand-seat stadium suggests it would. That changed in the 2021–2022 season, when Quepos Cambute won the Segunda B LINAFA title, beating Deportivo Pavas 2-1 on aggregate in the final after a 1-1 draw and a 1-0 win. The Campeón de Campeones Segunda B followed the same season, and with it the right to move up. From 2022–2023, Quepos Cambute has played in Liga de Ascenso, the country's second professional tier.

Mauricio Moraga, born in Quepos, took charge of the team in 2024, the same year the club refreshed its badge and visual identity.

Not everything has gone to plan. In April 2026 the team bus caught fire on the way to a match against Municipal Grecia, forcing a postponement, though no one was hurt.
