Trindade

Trindade Atlético Clube has one title to its name, and it came from the bottom: champions of the Campeonato Goiano's Terceira Divisão in 2005. Everything since has circled that level without quite repeating it — runners-up in the Divisão de Acesso in 2006 and again in 2013, runners-up in the Terceira Divisão in 2023.

The high point of the professional era was brief: fourth place in the Goiano top flight in 2015. Relegation from the top division followed in 2016, then a second drop to the third tier in 2019, and in 2021 financial trouble forced the club to sit out the season altogether.

One name travelled further than the club did: Wendell Lira played for Trindade in 2012 before winning FIFA's Puskás Award in 2016. The youth side has had its own stage, reaching the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior three years running, from 2017 to 2019.

Matches against Santa Helena carry the sharpest edge locally. The rivalry with Anapolina traces to the 2013 final, and the one with Anápolis to a 2014 match Trindade led 1-0 before conceding five unanswered goals.

Home games are played at the Estádio Abrão Manoel da Costa, which holds 4,000.
