Bom Jesus EC

Bom Jesus ended the 2025 season of the Campeonato Goiano's third division without a single defeat, and closed it in style: 7-0 over Aseev in the last round, part of a run that brought nine wins, two draws and 29 points. The result sent the club up to the Divisão de Acesso, the state's second tier.

The club was founded on 20 March 1995 in Bom Jesus de Goiás, a town in the state of Goiás, and did not wait long to make a mark: in its first year it won the second division of the Campeonato Goiano, finishing with 24 points ahead of Aparecidense on 20. Promotion followed, but the club turned it down the next season, unable to meet the financial demands of playing in the elite. Three seasons in the top flight came later, from 1997 to 1999, before Bom Jesus dropped back down. Then, in 2001, the club stopped competing altogether.

Fourteen years passed before it returned, in 2015, taking its place again in the third division. A year without competing followed in 2016, then a fourth-place finish in 2017. Along the way, matches against Mineiros, Crixás and América de Morrinhos became the fixtures that mattered most, three sides Bom Jesus kept meeting in the fight for places and promotion.

Home games are played at the Estádio Gilmar Alves Oliveira, which holds 3,500. The team wears white shirts with green shorts and socks, switching to an all-yellow kit as the alternative.
