Bom Jesus beat Crichás 2:1 in the Goyano-2 regular season on Saturday evening. The match was played at Bom Jesus' home ground on 6 September 2026. Three goals were scored in the first half before a red card reshaped the second period.
Crichás took an early lead in the thirteenth minute. Bom Jesus responded quickly, scoring twice in the next three minutes to take control. Crichás dragged themselves back level just before the interval in the forty-fifth minute. They had held on grimly despite the deficit.
The second half began with Bom Jesus in control of the tie. Crichás lost a player in the seventy-fifth minute and were forced to defend deep. They saw the game out despite being a man down, though Bom Jesus could not find a winner.
Bom Jesus sit third in the table after ten rounds with eighteen points from five wins, three draws and one defeat. Crichás remain ninth with seven points from one victory, four draws and four losses. The result extends Bom Jesus' unbeaten run and leaves Crichás searching for consistency.
Bom Jesus had drawn 2:2 with Crichás earlier in the season. They have kept three clean sheets on the spin in their last five matches, but this one required them to work harder than the scoreline suggests. The points keep them within touching distance of the leaders.
