Vitória BA Women

Barradão belongs, on paper, to the men's side of Esporte Clube Vitória, but the women's team plays there too. There is no separate stadium, no separate badge, no separate account — Vitória's women post through the same club channels, in the same red and black.

That 2018 campaign carried further — a run through the Série A2, the national second division, finished without a single defeat and good enough for second place, which sent Vitória up into the top flight for 2019.

Larissa did the damage that first got people watching, five goals in one match against Independente back in 2009, two more against Galícia in the same spell. The state title, though, has since become someone else's habit: Bahia, the crosstown rival, took the Baianão in 2019 and has not let go since.
