Garliava sits in the Kaunas district. The measuring came in 2021, in the play-off for a place in I Lyga, when Garliava met Sūduva B and won 9-0 at home before adding a 1-0 in the return.

What followed was harder. The debut season in I Lyga, 2022, ended in 12th place. The next year brought 8th. Then 2024: 15th, and relegation to II Lyga.

The ground is the stadium of the Adomas Mitkus school, with room for a few hundred. Sources put the capacity at either 500 or 542.

Before the promotion there was 2017, and a run in the Lithuanian Cup that took the club past Atmosfera and into the last 16.

The shirt has stayed white throughout. The badge dates from 2021 — a white shield, red detailing, the letters FKG.

No graduate has gone on to the national side. The goalkeeper Vilius Stebris came through the academy; the record of him ends there.
