Football in Soroksár, the district on the southern edge of Budapest, traces back to Soroksári AC.

Since then the club has settled into life below the top flight, winning the NB III Közép group three times, in 2014, 2019 and 2021, and reaching a fourth-place finish in NB II during the 2016/17 season, its best showing at that level.
