The opening goal came in the fourth minute, giving Edgeville an early advantage that they held onto through the first half. Belmont responded after the break, finding a way back into the contest at the 59-minute mark to level proceedings and shift the momentum.
What followed was a tense period where both sides searched for a winner. Belmont struck again in the 82nd minute to take the lead, only for Edgeville to answer immediately with a dramatic finish at 84 minutes. The late goal proved decisive, sending the home supporters into raptures.
Edgeville's form has been improving of late.
