USC Munster II Women

For the second team, the fixtures that matter most are against VfL Oythe and TV Hörde.

That result has become a pattern rather than an exception. The team finished runner-up in the league in 2023/24, again in 2024/25, and again in 2025/26. Before any of that, there was a fall: relegation to the 3. Bundesliga Nord in 2023.

They play in blue and white, the same colours as the first team, at the Sporthalle Berg Fidel. The nickname, Die Unabhängigen — The Independents — belongs to the whole club. Players who came up through this second team's ranks, among them Angelina Grün and Lisa Thomsen, have gone on to the first side, which keeps its own rivalry with Ladies in Black Aachen in the NRW derby.

The parent club itself, Universitäts-Sportclub Münster, goes back to 1961.
