Baloncesto Fuenlabrada

In 2005 Fuenlabrada won the second-tier title, then called LEB Oro, and beat IBB Hoteles Menorca Bàsquet 75–74 in the Copa Príncipe de Asturias. The club has not won the ACB or the Copa del Rey. It also holds one CAM (Comunidad de Madrid) Tournament title.

Both promotions came from a club that did not exist until 1983, in a town on the southern edge of the Community of Madrid. Fuenlabrada's basketball has been built largely on its youth academy, the cantera.

The players the club points to are a mix of imports and homegrown names: Nate Huffman and Xavi Rabaseda, who came through Spanish basketball. Fuenla's fixture that carries most weight is the Derbi Madrileño against Movistar Estudiantes, the capital's other established basketball club.

Home games are played at the Polideportivo Fernando Martín, a municipal hall that holds 5,700 after its 2007 renovation. The team wears blue with white shoulders, and the hall fills with the same colours.
