Hestia Menorca

Four years later a new entity took its place, and in 2016 it entered the lowest national tier, Liga EBA, under the plain name Bàsquet Menorca. The name changed twice more: Club Bàsquet Menorca for 2017–18, then Hestia Menorca from 2018–19, once Fundación Hestia became the main sponsor.

The climb began almost at once. In 2018 the team won the Liga EBA promotion playoffs and moved up to LEB Plata, now called Segunda FEB. In the 2022–23 season, things came together. Slava Kravtsov was the key offensive force that year, and Pablo González Longarela, a product of the local academy, was in the squad. That team reached the final of the Copa LEB Plata but lost to UBU Tizona. In the promotion playoffs it went one better and won them, which took the club back to LEB Oro, now Primera FEB, nine years after Menorca had last played at that level.

The return had a consequence outside the results. In 2025–26 the "Derbi Balear" against Fibwi Mallorca Bàsquet Palma was played in the league again after a gap of 13 years.

The home arena, Pavelló Menorca in Mahón, holds 5,115. The team is usually called Hestia Menorca, and locally "els menorquins".

Of the more recent arrivals, Jacob Grandison, an American-Finnish wing, joined in 2023–24 as the club settled into the upper division. Thad McFadden, an experienced guard, signed in late 2025, in time for the derby's return.
