Eigner Angels Nördlingen Women

The Angels went down 72:73 to TK Hannover Luchse in the DBBL-Pokal, the German women's cup, and the decisive score came in the last seconds.

No other result has taken the club as close to a trophy. The Angels have played in the women's basketball Bundesliga (DBBL) since the 2008/2009 season, and the 2024 final remains their best outcome there. They reached the Top Four again in 2025 and found no answer to Rutronik Stars Keltern, losing the semi-final 57:90. The third-place match went to Alba Berlin 91:55.

The name on the shirts has changed more often than the colours, which are white and red. The registered association is BG Donau-Ries e.V. The team played for a time as XCYDE Angels and has been ANGELS since 2016. It now competes as Eigner Angels Nördlingen. In October 2025 it left white and red aside for one night. For a solidarity match in support of breast cancer awareness, the players wore purple and blue.

The team began in 2008 as the women's basketball side of TSV Nördlingen.
