OSC-Halle A holds 800 people.
The team grew out of Osnabrücker SC, itself formed in 1969 from the merger of two older clubs going back to the nineteenth century, though the women's basketball side only shows up clearly in the records from 1989, the year it won the Regionalliga Nord and went up to the Bundesliga. In 2012, Sparkasse Osnabrück came in as main sponsor and the team took the name GiroLive Panthers before returning to the 1. DBBL in 2019.
The closest the club has come to the title was the 2020/21 final, lost 0-3 to Rutronik Stars Keltern.
