Norrkoping

Stadium Arena has held Norrköping Dolphins since December 2008, a hall built for 3,500 spectators, 2,600 of them seated, replacing the older Himmelstalundshallen and Ektorpshallen.

That run has since made the Dolphins the most decorated side in Swedish basketball. The club traces its championship lineage back to 1979–80, when it won as Hageby BK, before taking the Basketligan name Norrköping Dolphins in 1992 alongside the league's own formation. The title returned in 1997–98, then began arriving in clusters: 2009–10, 2011–12, 2017–18, and then every season from 2020–21 through 2024–25, five in a row. Orange and black have become shorthand for that dominance.

The domestic cup came later. Norrköping added the Svenska Cupen in 2022–23 and again the following season, filling in one of the few gaps left in the trophy cabinet. Beyond Sweden, the club reached the Top 16 of the FIBA EuroChallenge in 2010–11 and again in 2012–13, a rare continental showing for a club of this size.

Traevon Jackson has been among the players carrying that recent stretch of titles. The rivalry with Södertälje Kings supplies the closest thing Swedish basketball has to a derby, though the fixture has never earned a name of its own the way football derbies do.

The women's section, formed through a 2001/02 merger with Norrköpings Dambasketklubb, has won Swedish championships in 2000, 2013 and 2022, and the club's wheelchair basketball team collected national titles through much of 2008 to 2020.
