Quinta Dos Lombos Women

The Pavilhão Desportivo dos Lombos holds 650 people.

Quinta dos Lombos grew out of Centro Recreativo e Cultural da Quinta dos Lombos, a multi-sports club in Carcavelos, on 2 June 1975.

The cup has been the club's real hunting ground. Quinta dos Lombos have taken the Taça de Portugal four times. Add three Supertaça Feminina wins, and the pattern is a team that shows up for one-off finals and settles them.

Sara Caetano wears the captain's armband, and under coach José Leite the squad has kept its cup pedigree intact rather than rebuilding it from scratch each season. Maddi Utti and Jéssica Hanson have both worn the black and yellow in recent campaigns, part of a group built to peak in March, when the Portuguese Cup is decided.

None of it changes what the club still is at its core: a recreational and cultural association from Carcavelos that happened to build one of the country's most consistent women's basketball sides inside it.
