«Class Sant Antoni»
Ibiza is not the first place anyone looks for Spanish basketball, yet Sant Antoni de Portmany, in the Balearic Islands, has a club that reached the national final stage of a league competition. Club Bàsquet Sant Antoni, known as Class Sant Antoni, dresses in royal blue and black. It has played in the town since 1998.
Its home is the Pavelló de Sa Pedrera, in the Can Coix sports area on the Carretera de Santa Agnès. The hall is being enlarged with new retractable stands.
The best moment so far came in the 2021-22 season, in the Copa LEB Plata. Sant Antoni reached the final and lost to Zornotza ST 66-64. The club has not treated that result as a one-off. In 2023-24 it returned to the top of the LEB Plata table's business end and reached the playoff semi-finals.
