The women's basketball section at Sporting Clube de Coimbrões has one title to its name, and it belongs to the youth ranks rather than the senior team: the national championship at 'iniciadas' level, taken in the 2006/07 season.

The section works under a parent club founded on 25 October 1920 in Vila Nova de Gaia, and it plays now in the Liga Betclic Feminina, the top flight of Portuguese women's basketball, carrying the green and white the football side wears as well. Games are played at the Pavilhão Municipal de Coimbrões, known locally as the Pavilhão Vitor Santos, which holds around 250 people.

That programme, the Escola Feminibasquete, sits at the centre of how the section is run, with Sandra Batista coordinating it alongside the senior squad. Ana Oliveira, who joined the team in 2022/23, is the more established name on the current roster; Maria Marinho arrived a season later.
