Caius Cesar

Caius Cesar joined Coritiba's academy at 14 and worked through the club's youth ranks before breaking into the first team, along the way winning the Brazilian under-20 Cup and the Paraná state youth championship with Coritiba's junior sides. In 2023 he added a gold medal with Brazil's under-23 side at the Pan American Games.

His senior career took off from Coritiba, where he made 32 appearances and scored twice. In January 2024 he moved to Portugal on loan with Vitória de Guimarães, a switch the club later made permanent for a fee reported between €1.5m and €4.2m. A year later came a bigger step: Al-Hilal signed him in January 2025 for €10m, and in Saudi Arabia he featured 23 times, scoring three goals.

He returned to Brazilian football at the end of January 2026, joining Corinthians on loan, with the deal covering his wages and including an option for the club to buy 50% of his economic rights for €6m. He has made 13 appearances for Corinthians so far, scoring twice. One of those performances stood out to supporters: after helping the side beat Grêmio in the Brasileirão, he was voted Craque do Corinthians — the club's player-of-the-match award decided by fans — in 2025.

At international level, Cesar has played four times for Brazil's under-23 team.
