In 2017 the businessman José Luis Rodríguez bought the franchise slot left behind by Jacó Rays and used it to found Futbol Consultants Moravia on 3 May of that year, in the canton of Moravia, Sn José province. The name carried over from an existing structure, Futbol Consultants, which until then had run only a youth setup and a women's team; both were folded into the new senior side.
By September 2018, with no sponsors or logistical backing to be found in the canton, the club packed up for Desamparados, where it has played since at Estadio Jorge Hernán "Cuty" Monge .
Ownership passed in 2019 to Mónica Malavassi Álvarez.
