Instituto Sociocultural Brasil-China ran cultural and social programmes in the Mooca district of São Paulo and needed a football arm for the young people enrolled in them. That arm became Ibrachina Futebol Clube Ltda., registered on 16 September 2020 as an independent sports project rather than a department of the institute, and it has kept to its original scope since: no senior team, only Sub-15, Sub-17 and Sub-20 sides.

Home matches are played at Ibrachina Arena, on Rua Borges de Figueiredo in Mooca, which holds between 600 and 2,000 spectators depending on the fixture. The first shirt is red, with yellow and blue kept for away games, and Juventus-SP is the club's principal rival.

The honours match the age groups involved: the Sub-17s won the Aldeia International Cup in 2024, the Sub-20s the Copa Ibrachina Sub-20 in 2026. Outside its own competitions, the club has reached a quarter-final of the Campeonato Paulista Sub-20, in 2022, and a semi-final of the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, in January 2026 — the Copinha, the tournament by which every Brazilian academy is judged.
