What the youth setup does is narrower and easier to measure. In 2025/26 the Sub-23 side reached the Liguilla and went out to Pachuca, beaten 2-1. The fixtures against San Luis and UNAM Pumas are the ones that fill the calendar, and the club publishes the age-group news under Fuerzas Básicas rather than leaving it to the first team's shadow.

The club itself dates from 7 May 1944, founded as Puebla Fútbol Club and renamed Club Puebla in 2016. Pirma has supplied the kit since 2023.

The address is the part that outsizes everything else. Estadio Cuauhtémoc holds 51,726 after the rebuild of 2014-2015 — a capacity that belongs to a World Cup venue rather than a development league, and one the under-21s share with the senior team in the city of Puebla.
