Hämeenlinna U20

The U20 team, known as Ritarit, or the Knights, carries the colours of the senior club, HPK, orange, black and white, and its results are folded into the same identity rather than kept separate.

Ritarit reached the final of the U20 SM-sarja, the top junior league in Finland, four times in five seasons. Only once did they win it: in 2012–13, beating Blues for the title. The three finals that followed went the other way, against Blues again, then TPS, then Ässät, a run of near-misses that has defined the team's recent history more than the single championship did. The same 2012–13 group also finished second at the Junior Club World Cup.

Games against Ilves and Tappara, both from nearby Tampere, carry more weight than the rest of the schedule, a rivalry drawn by geography rather than any formal name.

Home matches are played at Pohjantähti Areena in Hämeenlinna, in front of a crowd that can run to 5,360 when the senior club's arena empties out for the juniors below them.
