Lukko U20

The 2024–25 regular season put a number on the wall that no U20 SM-sarja team had reached before: Lukko's junior side finished with the highest average points per game in the league's history.

The club around them grew out of an industrial name — Rauman Lukko began life in 1936 as Rauma Wood and Iron Lock — and the junior team still wears the blue and yellow that gave both squads their nickname, Sinikeltaiset, the Blue-Yellows.

Before the recent run, the junior championship had eluded Rauma for decades. Then 2021 broke the drought, a final win over Kärpät U20, and KalPa U20 fell to them the year after.

That rivalry filters down to the juniors too, where Tappara and Ässät remain the games that matter most on the calendar.
