Fenerbahçe Women claimed a 2-3 victory over Beşiktaş in the opening round of the Sultan's League for women on Saturday 11 October. The away side took all three points in Istanbul, moving into fifth place while Beşiktaş dropped to thirteenth.

Fenerbahçe started with momentum from a 3-0 win over Manisa earlier in October. Beşiktaş had shown flashes of promise with a 3-1 victory over Afyon Bldytas Women, but consistency remained elusive after losses to Vakıfbank and Nilüfer Belediyespor.

The result extended Fenerbahçe's unbeaten run to one game and gave them a pure winning record. Beşiktaş paid for a sloppy opening, collecting their first defeat of the season after a campaign that began with mixed results.
