Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament (Sierra Leone) 2021/22

The Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament stands as the premier domestic List A competition in Sri Lanka, organized by Sri Lanka Cricket. It represents the highest tier of the country's club cricket pyramid alongside the Major League Tournament and the Major Clubs T20 Tournament. The event features affiliated first-class clubs rather than district-based sides, distinguishing it from the Districts One Day Tournament.

The competition took its current "Major Clubs" name during the 2020–21 season, replacing the Premier Limited Overs Tournament which had operated under various names since 1988–89. Teams compete in an 18 to 26 team structure split into two groups, utilizing a round-robin format followed by semi-finals and a final.

Sinhalese Sports Club holds the record for the most titles won in the history of the competition. Recent victories have been claimed by Ace Capital Cricket Club, Sinhalese Sports Club, Tamil Union, and Nondescripts Cricket Club. Within the club structure, there is a relegation system where bottom teams may drop to the Governor's Trophy. There is no promotion or relegation between the club tournament and the district tournament. The participating clubs for the 2021 season include Badureliya Sports Club, Moors Sports Club, Nondescripts Cricket Club, Colombo Cricket Club, Sebastianites Cricket and Athletic Club, and Colts Cricket Club.

The tournament serves as a crucial platform for List A cricket within the nation, providing competitive opportunities for established clubs. Its structure ensures a consistent pathway for teams to compete at a high level within the domestic circuit.
