Khovd Western — Erchim: 2:3, Premier League

Erchim held on for a 3-2 victory over Khovd Western in the Premier League's third round of the regular season on Monday. Both sides arrived with identical records — one win, one defeat, three points each — but the visitors took all three points after a match that swung from end to end.

Batsuuri gave the hosts an early advantage with a seventh-minute goal, but the momentum shifted sharply when he was sent off at the 38-minute mark. To be fair, the red card came at a difficult moment for Khovd Western, who had been threatening since the opening exchanges.

Erchim capitalised immediately. They levelled at 48 minutes before taking the lead with a second goal just four minutes later at 52 minutes. By then, playing with ten men, Khovd Western looked to be drifting away from the result entirely.

But the hosts refused to concede. A goal at 78 minutes brought them back into the contest, and for a while it seemed they might salvage something. And here's the thing — when you're down to ten men, you don't expect to be chasing a game in the final quarter.

Erchim ended it at 90 minutes with their third goal, securing the win after a frantic finish. The result sees the visitors move to fifth place, while Khovd Western drop to sixth, though both remain on three points after two games.
