Kisumu All Stars

Moi Stadium seats 5,000 and sits at the centre of Kisumu's football life, a municipal ground the city knows equally as Kisumu Municipal Stadium.

The first Kisumu All Stars reached the Kenyan Premier League in 1998 and stayed there until a 10-0 defeat to Mumias Sugar was exposed as match-fixing, a result that got the club thrown out of the league.

The club came back in 2018, not through promotion on the pitch but by administrative decision, taking the place of Palos FC in the Kenyan National Super League. Nick Aketch, a former Kenyan international, took charge as the revived side's first coach. The Blue Eagles, as they're known, or the Blue Army to the supporters who follow them, have yet to add a trophy to that restart.

What the club has kept from before is its rivalry with Kisumu Hot Stars, played out as the Kisumo Dala derby.
