Jämtland Basket — BC Luleå: 96:87, Basketligan

Jämtland Basket beat Luleå 96:87 in the Swedish Basketball League on 29 September 2026. The hosts stayed first in the table after a game where the margin never felt secure. Luleå, third in the standings, pushed hard but could not find a way through.

By then you could see the shape of it. Jämtland worked the channels and moved the ball with 20 assists, while Luleå relied on 13. The visitors had more steals with nine, but the hosts controlled the paint better with five blocks to one.

and here's the thing — the free throws mattered. Jämtland hit 26 from 32 attempts, Luleå 21 from 26. That difference of five points shifted the momentum where it counted. We had called for a home win with 54% confidence. It came through, not with ease but with enough.

The numbers tell a story of efficiency. Jämtland shot 26 from 63 field goals, Luleå 27 from 66. The visitors took 17 three-pointers but made only four, while the hosts hit seven from 27. Rebounds were close — 34 to 37 — but the offensive boards tilted toward Luleå with 13 to 12.

What it means in the table is straightforward. Jämtland remain top with 22 wins from 30 games, eight defeats. Luleå sit third, one win behind and one defeat more. The gap in points is narrow, but the result keeps the hosts clear at the summit.
