LogroBasket went up to the Segunda FEB, the level once called LEB Plata, by winning Group AA of the Tercera FEB in 2024-25. They took both the regular season and the promotion phase. It was the club's third promotion.

That season the club finished first in the 1ª División, and then COVID-19 suspended play. The Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) validated the promotion to Liga EBA on sporting grounds.

The first step came in 2017-18, two years after the club was set up in June 2016 as a project to grow basketball in La Rioja. LogroBasket won the 2ª División Interautonómica, the sixth level, and moved up to the 1ª División. They play at the Polideportivo Lobete in a white shirt with red hoops, which is where the name blanquirrojo comes from. Across town is Club Baloncesto Clavijo, and the two Logroño sides call their meetings the "derbi histórico".

Borja Arévalo has been through all three promotions. He was born in Logroño on 8 January 1991 and captains the side. He has spent nine seasons with the club, having played in LEB Oro with Tau Castelló before he came home.
