Cartagena CB

In the 2023-24 season Cartagena won the Liga LEB Plata, which took them up to Primera FEB, the division formerly called LEB Oro. The same season they reached the finals of the Copa FBRM and of the Copa LEB Plata. The promotion capped a climb that began in the regional leagues.

The club was set up in 2007 under president Pedro Collado, who stayed until 2013, and spent those years in the Primera Autonómica. They won that division in 2011-12. The Copa FBRM came in 2014-15, again in 2022-23 and again in 2024-25, so the 2024 final sits between two wins. From 2013 to 2020 they played at the Pabellón Central de Cartagena.

The nickname, Cebé, is just the letters "CB" for Club Baloncesto read aloud.

The 2020 change was the largest. The club joined the structure of FC Cartagena, the city's football club, and took the name FC Cartagena Baloncesto. The same year it moved into the Palacio de Deportes de Cartagena, which holds 4,815. The colours are black, white, yellow and crimson.

Recent squads have mixed local and imported players. Alejandro Tendero comes from San Javier, and José Antonio Marco, a point guard, is captain. Mansour Kasse, a Senegalese international, came through the youth ranks at Real Madrid. Vítor Faverani, who played in the NBA, returned to Spain in September 2025 to sign for the club.
