Palmer Basket

Marco Justo guided Palmer Basket out of LEB Plata and into Primera FEB in May 2025. It was the second climb in three years for a project that did not exist in its current form until 2022, when Vicenç Palmer, head of Grupo Palmer, bought out what had been AEA Solidaria Llucmajor and put his own name and colours on it. The shirt is celeste and white now, but the club underneath goes back to 1964 and Club Bàsquet Joventut Llucmajor, formed in the town of Llucmajor long before anyone connected to Palma's biggest arena.

Under Óscar Olivenza the team had already won the LEB Plata title in 2023, and two years later Justo finished the job by taking it into the second tier of Spanish basketball outright. Lucas Victoriano has since been appointed to carry the team through Primera FEB.

Home games are played at the Palau d'Esports de Son Moix, a 4,000-seat arena that gives the club a stage well beyond what a team built from a Llucmajor amateur side once had. Toni Vicens and Danny Agbelese have been among those carrying the roster through the step up in competition. Across the city, Fibwi Palma provides the closest thing to a settled rival, and their meetings are known locally as the Majorcan derby.

Palmer Basket now sits in Primera FEB for the first time in its history, still finding its level against clubs with far longer records in the division.
