Sipoletti edge past Argentino Monte-Mai in tight affair
Sipoletti claimed a slender 1-0 triumph over Argentino Monte-Mai in the Winners Stage of the Torneo Federal A on Wednesday evening. The result keeps the hosts in sixth place with nine points from six games, while Argentino remain seventh on eight points after seven matches.
The decisive moment came late on when F. Pettineroli found the net in the 88th minute. And here's the thing — it was a match where chances were at a premium, with the hosts managing only four shots on target throughout the entire contest.
