Anjos do Céu shares training ground and calendar with Ceará's own youth sides.

That ownership is the point of the club.

Results have followed unevenly. The senior side reached the Campeonato Cearense Série C in 2022 and finished seventh, well off Pacatuba, who won it. The U20s have come closer without breaking through, finishing third in their state championship in 2023. Where the project shows itself is in the players it releases rather than the trophies it keeps: Max Rael Souza passed through the academy on his way to the youth ranks of Internacional, Coritiba and Palmeiras.

None of that changes what the club was built to do.
