Brynäs Women — SDE HF W: 3:0, SDHL Women

Brynäs secured a 3-0 victory over SDE HF in the SDHL women’s league on Friday. The hosts kept a clean sheet as they improved their record to 5 wins from 5 matches. It was a straightforward evening for the side sitting top of the table.

To be fair, the result highlighted the difference between the two teams on paper. SDE arrived with 3 wins and a 1 loss, but they could not match the consistency of the home side. The visitors failed to find a foothold against a defence that held its shape. The hosts controlled the tempo throughout.

Recent performances suggest both clubs are building momentum. Brynäs have scored freely in their last 5 outings, including a 4-0 win against Skellefteå and a 5-1 victory over Luleå.

SDE have also been competitive, picking up wins against Frölunda and Linköping. However, their recent 1-4 defeat to Djurgården showed vulnerability. The away side faced mounting pressure to produce a better performance than they managed here.

The result leaves Brynäs clear at the summit with a perfect record. SDE drop further behind in the standings after this first loss of the campaign. The gap between the leaders and the challengers is beginning to open up.
