The club took its sporting title from Kondor Catania when it was admitted to Serie B2 in July 2019, a year after its founding in 2018.

Serie A1 has not come, and neither has the Coppa Italia. What Messina — known in the stands as the SuperGirls — has taken are the smaller trophies that pad a preseason and a regional calendar: the Trofeo Centro Commerciale Maregrosso in September 2024, beating Pallavolo Crotone 3-0, and the 2025 Trofeo dei Territori AeQuilibrium Cup in Cefalù. In the competition that actually counts, the club reached the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia A2 Femminile in 2024-2025 and went no further.
