Luleå beat Köping Stars 95–91 in the Swedish Basketball League on 25 September. The hosts took the win by four points after a game that stayed close until the final minutes. Köping had their chances but could not find a way through in the closing moments.

Luleå had lost three of their last five before this win, including a heavy defeat to Norrköping. A result like this might give them some confidence as the season moves forward.
