The Pabellón Municipal Europa seats 4,254, a large hall for a women's basketball side, and it has had to be big enough for two different ambitions. Leganés, a town south of Madrid, gave the team its nickname, Las Pepineras. The sky-blue and white shirts have been playing under that name since the current basketball project began in 2006.

The project grew slowly. In 2011 and 2012 the team won the Madrid championship in the first national division, and that second title carried straight into promotion: Leganés played 2012-2013 in the Liga Femenina Endesa, the top tier. The return took nine years. The 2021-2022 season was built around Imani Tate, and Innova-TSN had taken over as sponsor from Laboratorios Ynsadiet that same year. Relegation followed in 2023.

The way back went through the second division. In 2025 Leganés won the Liga Femenina Challenge under head coach Javier Fort, whose contract was renewed after the promotion. María Jespersen, the Danish international, was named most valuable player in the promotion phase. For 2025-2026 the club added Elena Bosgana, a Greek international, and Mónica Redondo became the first player from the club's own academy to appear in the Endesa.

The nearest test is the Madrid derby against Movistar Estudiantes. Leganés won 85-79 in April 2019 and 68-61 in December 2025. The results are welcome, but they do not cover the budget.
