Zaragoza built its top-flight women's basketball around a pavilion, the Príncipe Felipe. The women's game in the city runs back to Stadium Casablanca, a multi-sport club founded in 1948 by the priest Francisco Izquierdo Molins, and later to Mann Filter Zaragoza, a professional side set up in 2000 that folded in 2013 when the money ran out.

Casademont Zaragoza won the same trophy in 2023, beating Perfumerías Avenida 55–51, and added the Supercopa de España in 2025 with a 79–68 win over Valencia Basket. The Liga Femenina Endesa title itself has stayed out of reach; third place, reached twice, remains the club's best league finish.

Helena Pueyo was named MVP of that Supercopa run. There is no derby to speak of — Stadium Casablanca's own team plays two divisions below — so the rivalries that matter are drawn against Valencia Basket and Perfumerías Avenida.

Playing in front of crowds at a ground built for over 10,000, wearing red and white as "Las Rojillas," the club now measures itself against the league's established powers rather than against its own past struggles.
