Club Atlético Costa Brava took shape there on 21 August 1932.
The club has spent most of its history inside the Liga Pampeana de Fútbol. Costa Brava has won the regional Primera División A title 15 times, with the run extending into recent years: it took the crown in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. In February 2025 that momentum carried further, when the club won the Torneo Regional Federal Amateur and earned promotion into Torneo Federal A, the third tier of Argentine football.
The nickname Albo comes straight from the shirt: white at home, with occasional red, maroon and gold versions worn for special occasions. Across town, Ferro Carril Oeste provides the derby that matters most to Costa Brava supporters, a local rivalry played out independently of whatever else the club is chasing that season.
Home games are played at Estadio Nuevo Pacaembu, which holds 5,000 spectators. It is a modest ground for a club now stepping up to national amateur competition, but it has been the backdrop for a title list built almost entirely on the pampas, in front of the same crowd that has followed Costa Brava through it.
